3:179 - ALLAH is not to leave the believers as you are, without distinguishing the bad from the good. Nor does ALLAH inform you of the future, but ALLAH bestows such knowledge upon whomever He chooses from among His messengers. Therefore, you shall believe in ALLAH and His messengers. If you believe and lead a righteous life, you receive a great recompense.
29:2 - 29:3 - Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test? We have tested those before them, for ALLAH must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.
9:16 - Did you think that you will be left alone without ALLAH distinguishing those among you who strive, and never ally themselves with ALLAH's enemies, or the enemies of His messengers, or the enemies of the believers? ALLAH is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
57:19 - Those who believed in ALLAH and His messengers are the saints and martyrs. Reserved for them at their Lord are their rewards and their light. As for those who disbelieved and rejected our revelations, they have incurred Hell.
65:8 - Many a community rebelled against the commands of its Lord and against His messengers. Consequently, we held them strictly accountable, and requited them a terrible requital.
57:25 - We sent our messengers supported by clear proofs, and we sent down to them the scripture and the law, that the people may uphold justice. And we sent down the iron, wherein there is strength, and many benefits for the people. All this in order for ALLAH to distinguish those who would support Him and His messengers, on faith. ALLAH is Powerful, Almighty.
Note the use of the word, "messengers," in plural, which is one of the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of attaining TOTAL ISLAM (Submission).
