In the Name of ALLAH, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |

It has been predetermined by ALLAH that He will send messengers to the people to deliver His message - that there is no god but ALLAH.
He has sent messengers in the past and each messenger has brought with him irrefutable signs from the Lord as a proof that he is indeed a messenger from ALLAH. There are three very important criteria that should be fulfilled to determine if someone is a messenger.
These are:
- He should preach ALLAH Alone
- He should not ask for any wage, as his wage comes from the Lord of the Universe, and
- He should bring a clear sign that cannot be fabricated by another human being.
Moreover, the new messenger from ALLAH must confirm the Quran, past messengers, miracles, and messages. This should reinforce the truth and should establish the criteria in the mind of a submitter that the messenger is indeed from ALLAH.
44:5 - It is a predetermined command from us that we send messengers.
We learn more about messengers and proofs in the following verses -
3:184 - If they reject you, messengers before you have been rejected, even though they brought proofs, the Psalms, and the enlightening scripture.
7:101 - We narrate to you the history of those communities: their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had rejected before. ALLAH thus seals the hearts of the disbelievers.
10:74 - Then we sent after him messengers to their people, and they showed them clear proofs. But they were not to believe in what they had rejected in the past. We thus seal the hearts of the transgressors..
14:9 - Have you not heard about those before you - the people of Noah, 'Ad, Thamoud, and others who came after them and known only to ALLAH? Their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they treated them with contempt and said, "We disbelieve in what you are sent with. We are skeptical about your message; full of doubt."
30:9 - Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They used to be more powerful, more prosperous, and more productive on earth. Their messengers went to them with clear signs. Consequently, ALLAH was not the One who wronged them, they are the ones who wronged their own souls.
40:78 - We have sent messengers before you - some of them we mentioned to you, and some we did not mention to you. No messenger can produce any miracle without ALLAH's authorization. Once ALLAH's judgment is issued, the truth dominates, and the falsifiers are exposed and humiliated.
64:6 - This is because their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they said, "Shall we follow humans like us?" They disbelieved and turned away. ALLAH does not need them; ALLAH is in no need, Praiseworthy.
